Hurricane!
My gosh, today was such a freaking hot day. My complexion has reached its darkest stage yet and I'm sure if this kind of weather continues, I will definitely become a blackie. Haha not as if now I'm not one already. It's about 35 degrees but I swear it feels like 38/9 degrees. Unluckily I kena the ride that has no shade at all. I was so hot, so drained that I thought I had a heat stroke or something. I felt dizzy and was super restless. God, it's horrible. And the stupid manager doesn't wana change me to another ride. I was stuck there for 4 hours straight. Another bad news is that the day here last for more than 12 hours, as sun sets only at 9pm. So it means more sun!!! Sianz~!
Something weird happened later in the night too. When it aproaches about 9pm, there was this sudden gush for wind and heavy downpour. It's was petrifying! You see people running and rushing into shelters, to avoid the abrupt hurricane. Well, that's what the people say it was. Suddenly, all the shops are full of people. Luckily I was working indoors at the restaurant and not the ride park so I wasn't really affected. But from inside, I can see and feel the strong wind and rain coming into the shop. It was madness! Even the trays, the food were being blown away. One of the sliding door actually got knocked off by the wind! I was kinda scared of course, it's my first time encountering a natural disaster thingy haha. But luckily that it only lasted for about half an hour or so before it became milder. Scary experience...
Me and Char are now very chao-dah. Of course I'm much worse! haha I'm known for becoming easily tanned and I look totally like a Malay now. Our feet and backs hurt from long hours of standing too. Shag... Bascially we stand for an average of 12 hours each day.
